From Tech CEO to Parking Lot Intern: My Unexpected Journey(Here’s how stepping out of my comfort zone transformed my leadership)Ever wondered what it’s like to go from leading a tech company to working as a parking lot boy?That is my reality for this month.Why?To reconnect with the ground-level operations, to understand the daily grind and most importantly to lead from a place of empathy and experience.Here’s what happened:a) Managing parking logistics was a completely new challenge. It pushed me to adapt quickly and relearn essential skills.b) Working alongside our parking staff allowed me to form stronger bonds with them. I was one of them, sharing their experiences and understanding their daily struggles.c) I saw the real problem from a different angle, identifying areas for improvement in our operations that I hadn’t noticed before.d) My team appreciated my willingness to step into their shoes. It showed them that true leadership is about service and understanding, not the positione) This experience reignited my passion for our mission and vision. It reminded me why we started this journey in the first place.To be a great leader, you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and get back to basics. You can talk to anyone about anything. You want to get up in the morning and just come to the office :) There's no room for boredom or monotony, something is always happening!Did you face any obstacles when you started working, and how did you overcome them?P: Greto is my first job where I feel I've really developed! I've honed my skills in communication and crisis management. I also participate in creating our CRM system, and I feel that I've contributed to the company’s development.What motivates you to work?P: The atmosphere, which I haven’t found in other places where I did internships. Coming to the office, you can always count on others. You're never left alone with any problems or questions.
